I think that Gopherwood guitar respond to a musician need, it is as good for strumming,tapping,percussive,fingerstyle. Regarding the sound, the first thing I liked was when I tried to play harmonics, and an opened chords, the sound was so deep and I could hear a full acoustic sound, the wood's voice, especially when you play with new strings. I think that the design is really luxurious, high class guitar, love every details of this guitar, it is one of my favorite guitar to play. I could not find any disadvantage yet, the sound gets better the more you play it. I think that sound pillar is an innovation in the guitar industry and definitely plays a role in the guitar's good sound.
